How to find your perfect place to stay in Premantura?

... or why is better to book now than cry after :)

In this post, we want to tell you some basic informations about booking... As every year we have the same problems, well... we don't have, but some of our quests have, we decided here to tell you what is the best way to find your perfect accommodation for summer...If you are one of our "dear old guest" who allready learned about this, please confirm in the comments bellow that all this what is going to be written below is the truth and nothing but the truth... ;)
So, as every year, we opened our agency in Premantura early, on 1. April.
There was allready some mooving, but we also wanted to prepare ourself for the Summer season, and that means a lot of work. First thing to do is to collect all our bycicles ( we have 20 of them and this year we ordered 20 new :) ) and take them on service in Šišan ( because BRB service is the best and we don't want anything less than this :) )

Then we started to check out our apartments; some of them had to be painted, in some we put new cool stuff from Ikea to arrange them so that you can feel yourself like home (  but without work stress and with beautiful nature arround you, knowing that crystal see is just few minutes away ) of course :) ...

This year the, so called mooving, started very early as I mentioned before...
Reasons for this are; early Easter time and unless the bad weather, some people come here to spend their weekend and they started to look the apartments for the summer... Our warm suggestion to everyone who wants to stay in Premantura during the August time is to book early. Especially if you have some specific wishes, like for example: " ...we are 2 or maybe 3 families, we want to be all together in the same house, it is ideal that this house has a garden with grill and maybe pool, we want 2 bathrooms of course and...close to the beach...can you find us something? And of course, we don't want to pay more than $$##%% per night...Thank you very much...oh wait, did I mentioned that we have also one SMALL dog, it is not heavier than 35kg, you know a small Cane Corso  :). " In summer time, when you literally can't find a dog's house free, some people even come from Nord of Europe ( that means that they took a drive whole night ) with 2 small children, searching without any reservations and without any idea where they come, an accomodation with speciall wishes like this one...

Make a reservation today, so that tomorrow you don't have to sleep on the beach :)

Okay,  there is no problem with this kind of requests if you send them to us in March or April, we will definetly find you something that will be the best for you...But, if you send us a request like that one mentioned before in June, July or even just few days before you go to your holiday... better keep your fingers crossed. Of course, sometimes we have a situation that somebody had to cancel their stay because of some unplanned events, and in this case we will have free something really nice.

And people, really, let's be honest, even if you don't have so complicated request, it will be hard to find free place in June for August, not even to mention in August for August...request that are coming in those days, we don't even have time to read, and the answer to all of them is the same: " we are sorry, but we are overbooked. Reservation for now are made 2 months before..." And than those people are very sorry, we are also, but there is nothing to do...we just hope that next year they won't wait for the last minute. The problem is, as we know, that you maybe don't know when you will have your holiday, but there is really nothing to do...and this year especially, I think that at the end of June we won't have a free place for the entire Summer.


After Easter time there was, now traditional,  Festival Kamenjak Rocky Trails from 11. - 12.04.15. with participants from all the Europe. It is interesting how this small village suddenly wakes up from the winter sleep, and it seems like everybody starts to go out from their houses, looking around what's happening...
In summertime, when you have a rush from dusk till down, and when you can hear 10 different languages on the street, it is not easy to imagine "winter idila" when all that you can see on the street is Šime the dog :)

We didn't even had time to move around us, the Italian and Slovenian people start to come, due to Liberation Day in Italy on 25. April and "Dan osvobodilne fronte" on 27. April in Slovenia...
A lot of people made a "bridge" with 1. May, and they stayed here for the whole week...

It was very nice to remember a little bit of what is in front of us, because now everything will stop again until 1. June when officially starts the Summer season...

This year specifically, we had really a lot requests from people who arrived here to see the apartments, for the accommodation in summer time. We made a lot reservations "on the street" and even more of them are made via e-mail and our web site...
So, with this post we wanted to explain you how the things here are working... Believe us dear people, we have really a lot of experience in this, and if you take this advices, you will have a vacation to remember... After all, you deserve it as we deserve our in October :) 



There are still very nice apartments available, so hurry up and contact us ASAP so that you don't cry after...

Una passeggiata nel "Kamenjak maggiore"

Sentieri segreti, panorame magiche,energie positive...

Nel post precedente abbiamo scritto delle spiagge che si trovano in parco "Kamenjak"... Ma se pensate che la zona "Kamenjak" e solo questa piu famosa dove c'e mare, vi devo dire che vi sbagliate. Vi invito a scoprire i posti che si trovano nella zona Nord, le bellissime panorame di aquatorio di Medulin, spiagge segrete, sentieri profumati con fiori endemici e la eredità mistica dell'armata austro-ungarica...

Come venire nell Kamenjak Nord o Kamenjak Maggiore? 
Se venite da Pola, dopo che avvete passato la rotonda di Banjole ( dove c'e piccolo centro commerciale e distribuzione di benzina), continuate ancora per circa 500m sulla strada per Premantura. Sulla vostra destra ci sara' un segno con la indicazione per "Gornji Kamenjak" e qua si entra su una piccola stradina che vi porta lungo ai campi che sarano sulla vostra destra e sinistra. Dopo circa 500m, si deve andare a sinistra e di la c'e una delle sette stazioni di cammino della croce che porta lungo questa strada ( da Premantura fino Volme ).
La strada e abastanza grande anche per andare con la macchina, ma e molto piu bello fare la passeggiata o andare con la bici. Il sentiero vi porta sulla collina e da li, tutto d'un tratto si apre la bellissima panorama dell aquatorio di Pomer e Medulin...

Dopo un po, venite su un incrocio e da li si puo andare a destra verso una grande croce di pietra, oppure andare ancora un po dritto e poi a destra.

 Se avete scelto di andare a destra, verso la croce bianca, la strada vi porta sul punto piu alto della comune di Medulin da dove e possibile vedere tutti i villagi con le chiese.

Quando vi avete riposato un po sulla panchina, tornate sul sentiero e continuate verso Premantura.

Dopo circa 150m ci sara' un altro incrocio, dove si puo scegliere di andare a destra verso mare. Nostro consiglio e di andare a destra e dopo circa 2 min in fronte a voi si apre un' altra panorama, quella che quarda verso il faro "Porer", le spiagge segrete della zona "Crvene stijene" ( Rocce rosse) e si possono vedere delle piccole barche da pesca.

Mentre vi godete la vista, la aria frescha e i profumi della salvia, fiori e timo, la strada vi portera' lungo questa bellissima panorama dove si ha la sensazione di volare...

Riposate ancora un po e fate qualche foto sulla panchina...

Rocce rosse

Continuate verso la strada che d'un tratto fara una curva a sinistra e vi trovate in un piccolo canyon che hanno fato gli Austroungarici perche questa era la zona di importanza strategica. Da qua loro hanno potuto fare il monitoraggio della zona di Pola e piccoli paesi d'intorno. Ma quando hanno fatto questo passaggio, non sapevano che cosa si nasconde sulle roccie...

La indicazione e uno dei fossili

Qua vengono riconosciuti tantissimi resti fossili rudisti e la caverna "Gradina" preistorica...In questa zona ci sono state alcune Gradine preistorice, ville e le fortificazione antiche, e quello che ci testimona la vita continuata dal 1 a.C. fino 3.d.C. ci sono varie anfore, piatti, monete del tempo di Claudie e Antonio Pio e lampade a olio.

Una volta fuori dal canyon, siete di nuovo sulla strada per Premantura...godete la vista verso Pomer e cala Šćuza...

Per finire questa piccola gita nella zona Nord dell Parco, continuate verso la strada e sulla destra ci sarano dei belissimi oliveti...la vostra esplorazione finira diretamente nella entrata di Premantura, vicino un nuovo campo da basket.

Speriamo che prossima volta quando venite a Premantura andate a trovare anche gli parti del Kamenjak Maggiore... e davvero peccato a perdere questa bellezza nascosta che molti nemeno non sanno che esiste...

Parco naturale "Kamenjak"

O che cosa si nasconde nella zona piu Sud dell Istria?

 

La peninsula di Istria si trova con maggior parte in Croazia, una piccola parte che comprende le città costiere di Isola, Portorose, Pirano e Capodistria rientra nel territorio della Slovenia.La comune di Muggia e di San Dorligo della Valle si trova in territorio italiano. La costa occidentale dell'Istria è lunga 242,5 km e con le isole 327,5 km. La costa orientale invece è lunga 202,6 km e con gli isolotti raggiunge i 212,4 km. 
Pero', che cosa si nasconde sulla parte piu Sud?

Se non vi piace trascorrere le Vostre vacanze in mezzo di tanta gente, ma cercate un posto tranquillo con mare cristallino e spiagge tutte differenti tra loro in natura incontaminata, allora Vi invitiamo a villagio di Premantura.  Qua vi potete sistemare in uno dei appartamenti privati o forse affittare una casa intera con giardino.

 Dal villagio, ci sono 5 min fino entrata di Parco "Kamenjak", e una volta quando siete arrivati nella zona proteta, potete scegliere una delle strade che portano a bellissime calette, in buona parte di scoglio o ciottoli. Si può entrare sia in macchina o con bici e quindi girare in lungo e in largo finche' non si trova una spiaggia perfetta :)






  L'acqua è limpida e pulita e ci sono molte insenature dove si puo fare il bagno senza troppa gente intorno.

 


All'estremità della penisola c'e la spiaggia Kolumbarica dove trovate delle scogliere da cui tuffarvi e anche le caverne dove si puo fare lo snorkeling perche mare e pulito, ricco di flora e fauna sottomarina.

Per chi ama il turismo attivo, c'e una varietà di attività che si possono provare. Per esempio c'e il centro diving dove si puo prenotare una gita con barca e si va in una delle localita' insieme con la quida esperta, ma anche se non avete gia' lo brevetto c'e la possibilita di fare lo Discovery diving. 
Per chi ama il vento, ci sono due centri dove si puo imparare lo windsurf oppure solo nollegare quello che vi manca e andare a esplorare l'ambiente. C'e anche la possibilita' di prenotare un kayak oppure lo SUP e cosi andare in una delle isole in aquatorio.

La miglior parte della gente viene in Premantura in Agosto. Questo non e' un problema per quanto riguarda le spiagge, perche' il Parco e davvero abastanza grande e si puo trovare sempre un luogo privato. Forse possono essere un po noiose le code delle macchine che vogliono entrare tutte nello stesso tempo, o tanta gente sulle spiagge piu popolare e per evitare questo, consigliamo di venire anche nei mesi di Maggio, Giugno, Settembre e Ottobre. Mare e' caldo, tempo e' bello con tanto Sole ma non c'e tanta gente. Da non dimenticare e anche che i prezzi di alloggi sono piu bassi riquardo a quelli in stagione alta.

Se volete arrivare da soli e godere la bellezza di Parco con la bici in Maggio quando ci sono anche dei asparagi selvatici, oppure le piace avvere una vacanza famigliare in Agosto, noi vi aspetiamo cari
